Breaking the Crass Ceiling

The President won a small victory by making a deal with the GOP to increase the debt limit.

The GOP position, with this new BRAC-esque committee designed to propose nothing but cuts, is going to hurt them in the long run, and yet they voted ahead of the Dems in congress to pass it.  As Bernie Frank might say, 'Irony!'

The House GOP just presented themselves the opportunity to cut the living flesh off national growth for the sake of low taxes for the rich.  The country will suffer, and in the end, those sleazy SOBs in congress will lose elections nation-wide come 2012.  And whether they win the White House or not, they will not destroy entitlements and they will have to accept the drawing down of the wartime footing we're still pursuing since Pearl 'friggin-70-years-ago' Harbor.

This moronic "Tea Party" movement will collapse on itself.  It's the only way the GOP can get their sleazy little way.  Mark my words.

"The rich"

Give it a rest already.

"This moronic "Tea Party" movement will collapse on itself."

Yeah, thats what you said two years ago that they wouldnt even be around today.
All they want is spending to stop.
Spending any fuckin idiot knows theres no money for.
And less taxes. What a crime.
Quitcherbitchen because in a few short months Barry will expire the Bush cuts.

Also, if your side had balls enough to present a plan, never mind a budget, then you'd earn the right to whine.
The U.S. Senate voting results were 74 to 26 in favor of passing the debt ceiling bill.
Your own party voted for this in significant numbers.
This fuckin piece of shit really did nothing but remove this issue from Barrys calendar so as to not interfere with his campaign.
Thats about it.
We spend fucking 4 billion a day.
Do the math.
This aint shit

Micky you guys have been saying that about the Tea Party since it began. Two years later we have more influence than ever. Sure not as much as Obama and his buddies on Wall Street, but we are making a difference.

This is such a gross and inaccurate representation. The GOP has consistently supported keeping the tax breaks for ALL taxpayers (only a minority of whom are rich). Whether or not the first part of your claim is true, to be accurate it should be "low taxes for the average taxpayer" at the end.
