Conservatives really enjoy celebrating national holidays. It makes them feel all patriotic inside. So, they hop in their gas-guzzlers and cruise on down to the Walmart to buy a pile of fireworks made by children in China and shoot them off illegally while the law ignores them. I have no problem with fireworks, but if people are going to flaunt the law, then why have it? These same sleazy conservatives bitch and moan about "illegal immigrants," for example, "breaking the law," but then turn around and break the law en masse in states every year shooting off fireworks. I say deport them to Mexico.
Anyways, I was thinking... what would the Declaration of Independence look like if conservatives had written it? I think it would look something like this:

Happy Fourth of July! JMJ

The Fourth gave you the indepedence to spew such nonsense.
Republicans already had a huge part in our settlement here to escape lack of independence and the choke hold of exactly what your idiot party is trying to return us to.
"We should be more like Europe"
Fuck your partys calls for "one world", one government", "one currancy" and global wealth redistribution under the fear mongered call to stop the planet from crapping itself into extinction. Shoving legislation that the majorities dont want up our asses, while taking over banks, insurance, oil companies all the while redefining simple fucking english to the point the first might as well be one of Crows squares
Thats what independence lookes like today thanks to you morons
Actually Micky, lots of countries are free enough for me to safely spew nonsense. We may be the first great republic to come out of the 18th century, and certainly the only around in the same form for that long, but we didn't invent it, we aren't the only ones doing it, and we certainly didn't perfect it. If you think this is a perfect country in every way, you'd be nuts.
In some ways we really should be like Europe. Not the "Old Europe" of conservatives' silly nightmares, but of Modern Europe, with it's modern forms of government, multiple political parties, liberal in the modern and classic sense economically and socially. Modern Europe is more family centered, and though it doesn't always work, they at least try to give people enough time to live their family lives. We work too much, make too little, and stress too much. We're quiet about it - like Old Europeans - but we're a pretty unhappy bunch. Europeans work enough, make enough, and don't stree that much. When they get upset, they get nuts and make the changes want, sometimes for good and sometimes for bad. But when tyhey make bad choices, they change their minds again. They aren't as insecure and obstinent as Americans.
To think there's absolutely nothing good about Europe or Europeans is taking this whole jingo-y uber-nationalism thing a little too far. There's lots of things we should do more like other people. That's how we learn and grow. Intentionally disragarding good ideas because you don't like "France" or harbor other such childish hatreds, is intellectual negligence.

Yeah they retire at 55 with no money to pay for it. Typical liberal policy.
Anyway here is a little bit of July 4th celebration:

We could easily be all retiring at 55! And we should! What kind of people have we become? Are we really stupid enough to fall for that ol' "Protestant Work Ethic," which is nothing but a way to placate workers and keep them down? We could easily enjoy universal healthcare, good schools, more time off work with our families, early retirement, etc. We just have to set our priorities straight! We're wasting our lives slavishly working for the benefit of the rich!

NEWS FLASH MORON !
It aint the rich that robbed SS and wants to raise the retirement age !
